Working on revamping the blog for the New Year!

I have been thinking about revamping our family blog and I am going to start working on it now! I just finished reading "The Tipping Point" and realized that it applies to my daily life. So stay tuned for the new site in the coming weeks.

Loving this Face...not the brown mess

Let's face it I think that every parent wakes up and loves their little chubby baby's face. I can safely say that I am one of them.

Since we started feeding Abby solid foods it has been quite funny. We started out with rice cereal. if you viewed the video below she looks as if it was her first and last meal on earth.

Last night we introduced carrots into the mix. At first taste she look as if she was dying. Then she got the hang out it and wanted to help me feed her. I had the camera ready and snapped this photo that shows how much Abby enjoys eating. The only drawback is that now when it comes out the other end it is not so much fun for mom and dad.

My friends use a coding system based on the numbe of wipes it takes to clean up the poopy mess. If you used three wipes it is a Code 3. You get the idea. Well after this picture was taken, I got Abby into her jammies and let her play on the floor while I cleaned the room. She was rolling and having a good time.

It only took a second for me to turn around and notice that her previously pink jammies had a new brown tint to them. Let's just say I had to call Amy to find out what they call a "stopped counting the number of wipes-outfit destroyed-poop from toes to neck-all over mom and then into the bathtub poop" she laughed and then said a "Planet Destroyer". Thanks Amy!!!

Food Time!!!

Abby Rolling Over

During the first week of May, Nana came to visit Abby. It was a great week and during this time Abby decided that it was time to roll from her back to her tummy. This was the beginning of her rolling all over the room. I was happy that my mom and Nana were able to spend time with her and enjoy Abby as much as Marty and I get to on a daily basis.

Lots Going on the Last Month

Wow, I can't believe that it has been a month since last I posted. So many things have been going on that I have not been able to stop and capture it all down on the blog but lots of video to post. Stay tuned.

Abby enjoys nature

Abby joined me while we got the car washed after our hike in Tennessee Valley with friends. There was a nice breeze and she was enjoying nature.
