Last week Marty, Abby and I were in the office. I was ading some some to my iPod and Marty was playing on the floor with Abby. As I was playing some random songs, Marty started to dance with Abby.
She got the biggest smile on her face and started laughing. At that moment it made me so happy as I realized that this impromptu dance was a special memory I will treasure for a long time.
My husband dancing with our daughter. My mind automatically flashed forward to her wedding day and them dancing. My eyes welled up but then no tears came as Abby's happy little laugh reminded me to stay in the present.
Now we have been ending each day with a family dance in the office before I put Abby down in her bed for the night.
